The Aging Systems Sustainment and Enabling Technologies (ASSET) program was a contract awarded to the OSU Enterprise Center, LLC. The ASSET program, originally established in 1994 as the Computer Assisted Technology Transfer (CATT) program, was the result of funding through the Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Logistics Agency. ASSET was an innovative partnership of government, industry, and academia which provided support toward the effort of assuring readiness and sustainability of military weapon systems.

The ASSET program, consisted of a growing network of member companies, expanded the supply base available to DoD procurement processes, and funded development of reverse engineering solutions for certain "problem" parts. These efforts enhanced the effectiveness of the government competitive bidding process, while providing significant economic opportunity to member companies.
